We continue with the activity that we started last year. In this case, the students of 1º BACH-A can choose between role playing a scene in class or recording it on video. The topic is still the same - they must show a situation in which teenagers are exposed to the threats of new technologies. Here are the results.

Below, you can see a set of videos created by the students of 1º BACH-A, as part of a project that dealt with the dangers of new technologies. They had to represent a situation in which at least one of the protagonists was hooked on a new technology (text messaging, computer games, social networks, online gambling...), was a victim of cyberbullying, used new technologies to cheat at school, etc. The results are quite amazing, as you can see.

The following project is a compilation of essays about the topic of customs and traditions of Boiro and Galicia. It is published on Issuu, which is an online service that allows us to view digitally uploaded material, such as books, magazines, newspapers or other print media. It was hard to make a selection, since the overall quality of the essays was quite good. Thanks to all the students that participated in it. Click on the image below and enjoy the results.

This voicethread is part of a unit about culture and customs that the students of 1º BACH-A have been dealing with in their English classes. It is divided into six different sections (friends, family, school, food, hangouts and free time activities), one for each group of students, who must imagine they are informing people in other countries about their lifestyle.
